People just don't strive for excellence anymore.

This is a bit more of a social opinion than an actual claim. But, hey, it's in claim format, so why not? Basically, I claim that we as a society has reached a point where we have realized that there's no need for "best" when "good enough" will give you the same result. And they act accordingly.
