There is a popular and funny video on youtube if you search for "spiders on drugs". There has also been real research using a variety of drugs starting in the 1950s (Witt P. N.) but I don't know what inspired the youtube video. The drugs do have an effect on the web building though.

A while back I saw webs made by spiders given various drugs. That was pretty cool.
(Oh, and I have no idea how true it was, maybe they found a bunch of weird webs and made up descriptions, but either way it was cool and funny.)

I actually watched a spider catch a flying insect, cocoon it, then inject its venom once in the wild (underneath a kitchen counter). Pretty amazing.
The flying insect probably has a bad opinion of humans now in insect heaven.
